Technology Dexis Digital X-ray- This system reduces exposure to ionizing radiation from 50-90% , when compared to conventional radiography. Digital x-rays also eliminate the use of hazardous processing chemicals while improving diagnostic evaluation and providing instant imaging. Magnification- Loupes and Microscope-Enhanced visualization, up to 12X, enhances treatment results. Adec Water Sterilization System- This program allows us to exceed state requirements for water line safety in the treatment rooms. Intraoral Camera- This is wonderful tool for patient education for it can provide a very sharp image of problem areas that a patient otherwise could not see. Diagnodent Laser- This is a new system for cavity detection. DNRA Mercury Recovery System- We have been removing waste amalgam from our water lines for the last eight years, exceeding state requirements for mercury management. Adec Electric Handpiece- This "drill" is quieter, smoother and more efficient than conventional air-driven handpieces. Caesey Education- This program provides video presentations on 40 different topics in dentistry. In House Lab- Our practice is unique as it has its own in-house dental laboratory with a resident ceramist creating natural porcelain veneers and crowns. This improves our quality control, convenience and results. Computerized Treatment Rooms- this promotes communication and an efficient patient visit. Patient Comfort These features at our office are designed to enhance the patient's experience. Nitrous Oxide-This is a safe, reversible analgesia that can allay anxiety during certain dental procedures. Handicap access- Patients requiring ramp entry to the office can access through the garage where a ramp is positioned. Patients can go directly from their car to the ramp from inside the garage and avoid weather issues. Central CD- and Sirius Satellite Sound System with headphones Our Gardens and Views of Edgemont Park-Our landscaping has won several Garden Club awards and was included in the "Roses to Rockgardens Tour" in 2005. Our treatment rooms and waiting room have multiple exposures of our surroundings.
